Jeep India currently have only Compass in the lineup and many new carmakers entering the Indian market and rapidly growing SUV segment, the American car company will bring cars in different segments to better solidify their position.

Jeep India made its debut in the Indian market with the Compass SUV in 2017. Since then, the 5 seater SUV has got number of new variants, new features but for the first time it will get a facelift update in which interior, exterior elements will be redesigned and new features will be added to better compete with the rivals.
From the exterior look there are really minimal changes with certain tweaks to the front grille and use of more chrome. The alloys wheels are completely new with the same profile while the sides as well as rear section is exactly same as that of pre facelift Compass.
The cabin will have a slightly reworked steering wheel, improved seat upholstery and addition of 12.3-inch Connect 5 infotainment system with android auto, Apple Carplay, navigation. Dual tone interior theme will be followed.
Feature list will be longer than before as 2021 Jeep Compass Facelift gets connected car technology, wireless Apple Carplay, Alexa support for Infotainment setup, cruise control as standard and 8 speakers.
Top features of the current spec Compass are 12 way powered driver seat, panoramic sunroof, 8.4” touchscreen system, dual zone ac, reverse parking camera, electric parking brake, all four disc brakes, leather seat upholstery.
Jeep Compass Facelift will continue to be offered with the same petrol and Diesel engine however there will be more automatic variants on offer than before. Power and torque figures are same as before.
Jeep Compass Facelift is presently priced between Rs. 16.49 Lakhs and Rs. 26.8 Lakhs. The facelifted version of Compass will cost between Rs. 16.5 Lakhs and Rs. 27 Lakhs (Ex Showroom).
Made world debut in June 2020, Compass Facelift will go on sale in the Indian market in February 2021. It will take on Skoda Karoq, Volkswagen T-Roc, Hyundai Tucson and Citroen C5 Aircross.

Jeep Compass 7 Seater SUV, codenamed Project 598 / Low D-SUV will be launched in India in Festive Season 2021 between the price tag of Rs. 25 Lakhs and Rs. 30 lakhs (Ex Showroom).
The 7-seater version of Compass will use the same monocoque platform from the 5 seater SUV but will be much longer than the Compass. In terms of dimensions, the length as well as wheelbase is going to increase over the Compass. Boot space will be less than 5 seater of the SUV due to the addition of the 3rd row.
Front profile will be pretty similar to Compass with difference in the headlamps, front bumper and LED DRL unit. It will borrow the alloy wheels from the Limited plus trim of the Compass. At the rear, it will have big size tail lamps with LED.
Jeep India will keep the dual tone interior of the Compass in its 7-seater version as well. 7-seater features new infotainment system, additional row as well as 3rd row ac vents as well. Instrument cluster is likely to be borrowed from the SUV on which it is based on.
Compass 7 Seater will be offered with a lone diesel engine while the Compass comes with 1.4 L Petrol and 2.0 L Diesel engine. Also there will be only automatic transmission on offer.
Top features of Jeep Compass 7-seater SUV are 360 degree camera, 12.3-inch infotainment system, 18-inch alloys, connected car technology, electric parking brake, panoramic sunroof, hill descent control, push start button with keyless entry, hands free tailgate, ventilated and powered front seats.
The Upcoming Compass 7-seater will take on the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Mahindra Alturas G4.

After bringing in the Compass facelift and its 7 seater car, the American carmakers will bring its most cheapest offering to rival the likes of Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Maruti Vitara Breeza.
The compact SUV will make international debut in early 2022 and will reach the Indian shore by June 2022. Rivalling the sub-4 metres SUV, it will be priced between Rs. 9 Lakhs and Rs. 15 Lakhs (Ex Showroom). To be assembled at Ranjangaon facility, it will have high level of localisation which will help to keep the cost competitive.
Exterior looks will be derived from Compass especially the front profile while the sides and the back will be similar to Jeep Renegade. It will get all black cabin theme and will be loaded with all the bells and whistles.
Underpinning the Jeep Compact SUV will be Groupe PSA’s CMF platform which is capable of supporting different body types and different powertrains including petrol, diesel, electric as well as hybrid.
It will be available with just a petrol engine and since the carmakers have the smallest Diesel engine in the form of 1.6-litre it won’t be part of the lineup. A couple of years after the launch, the compact SUV will go electric.
The 1.3 litre FireFly petrol engine will be on offer with option of 6 Speed MT and 7 Speed DCT. It will be available in two states of tune – 128 BHP / 270 NM and 148 BHP and 270 NM of torque. The upper variants will also have 4×4 drive system as well.
Top features includes rear parking camera, 8.4-inch infotainment system, cruise control, TPMS, sunroof, leather seat upholstery, automatic climate control, 16-inch alloys, LED tail lamps, digital instrument cluster among others.

The second generation Jeep Renegade is all set for 2022 debut. It is expected to hit the Jeep showrooms in India by the end of 2020 between the price tag of Rs. 12 Lakhs and Rs. 18 Lakhs (ex showroom). Rivals includes Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Vision IN and VW Taigun.
As compared to the current gen of the Renegade, new generation will have sleeker and modern headlamps, updated alloys and LEDd tail lamps. The interiors are also expected to undergo a major change as well which will come after 8 long years.
There will a petrol as well as Diesel engine on offer for the New Jeep Renegade at the time of the launch.
1.3 litre FireFly petrol engine will be offered in 128 BHP / 270 NM and 148 BHP and 270 NM of torque. 6 Speed manual as well as 7 Speed DDCT will be available across the petrol trims.
The 1.6 litre Diesel engine will also be a part of the lineup. It will have option of front wheel and all wheel drive system with transmission options including manual as well as automatic. The output figures of diesel motor are 120 BHP an 300 NM.
