Tata Motors will initially offer this model exclusively as an electric vehicle, with a combustion-engine variant following in the future.

The Acti.ev architecture from Tata will serve as the foundation for the New Curvv Ev, which will offer an amazing 400–600 km* range on a single charge. It is anticipated that the Curve ICE version is going to get a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine. The ICE version is anticipated to cost between 12 and 18 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the Curvv Ev would cost between 15 and 20 lakhs.
