While Mahindra already has their hands full of new car launches and testing, Mahindra was also seen testing the XUV700 or more like the new trim of the XUV700. In this article, you’ll get to know everything you need to about the upcoming new trim!
Exterior
The Updated XUV700 will look the same from the outside as it did before like the grille with twin-vertical bars and the first and last twin vertical bars bends to into the LED headlamps which by the line those two lines act as LED DRLs. The side profile of the XUV700 is just clean with roofline, chrome line on the bottom frame of window, the smart door handle for improved aerodynamics, non-functional roof rails, and thin wheel arch lines. At the rear, it has the arrow-shape taillamps, rear spoiler with shark fin antenna on top, and the bumper finished in faux silver skid plate.

Interior
The interiors will look the same as before like seamless integrated dual 10.25-inch displays, tri-color dashboard theme, and so on. However, the main update is that the new trim will be getting captain seats in the second row with foldable armrests, reclinable, and forward/backward slide function. Other than that, no changes will be in the cabin.
Engine Options
The XUV700 will continue to be powered by the 2.0 L Turbo Petrol Engine producing 197 BHP and 380 NM of torque mated to 6 Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox. Other is the 2.2 L Diesel Engine generating 182 BHP and 450 NM of torque paired to 6 Speed Manual And Automatic Gearbox. Mahindra won’t be changing or updating the engine options since this isn’t an facelift or next generation update for the SUV as it’s soon for the brand to do this thing.
Features
While the XUV700 comes with features like 360 Surround View Camera, Dual-zone climate control, powered front seats, Level 1 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, and so much more. However, the biggest missing features in the segment for XUV700 is the ventilated seats. Thankfully, Mahindra is introducing this feature in the new update, and its possible that ventilated seats could be offered for the second-row captain seats. Moreover, it’ll also get Auto-Dimming IRVM with an on / off switch to engage or disengage the automatic function.
Price and Launch
The current XUV700 is priced between Rs. 14.07 – Rs. 26.57 Lakh. However with the update, the top trim could likely be priced around Rs. 27.50 Lakh. Mahindra is expected to introduce the update for the SUV in the coming months.
