Which MPV is worth buying? Is it the Renault Triber or the Maruti Ertiga? Well, why don’t we compare the two against each other to find that out!
Renault Triber vs Maruti Ertiga – Exterior and Interior
From the outside, the Renault Triber has a wide V-shape grille with three chrome line and the Renault logo between the first two chrome line and ends up dividing the line. It has halogen headlamps with the LED DRLs below the headlamps and there is chrome around the DRLs. The bumpers at the front and rear are faux skid plate finished in silver. Moving to the side, it has creases on body, chrome door handles, door handles, functional roof-rails, and rides on 15-inch steel wheels. At the rear, it has a small roof spoiler, rear wiper on the rear windscreen, and halogen taillamps.

The Triber has a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with digital instrument cluster, and the pedals finished in black color. Moving to the rear, the seats are split in 60:40 ratio, and has 2-speaker sound system. Now, the seats at the third row is best for children and not for adults as adults can only sit there for short journeys.
As for the Maruti Ertiga, it has an 7-inch infotainment system placed between the AC vents and the AC vents at the sides are in rectangle shape that is positioned horizontally to blend with the dashboard design. It has dual-tone dashboard design option as well. The Ertiga has a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with analog instrument cluster and a TFT display between the two analog dials, and the pedals are finished in black color. It has an armrest that doesn’t slide and fabric seat upholstery. Moving to the second row, the seats are split in 60:40 ratio and the AC vents is placed on the roof. The third row seats are split in 50:50 ratio and the Ertiga has a 6-speaker Arkamy’s sound system.
So, from the outside, the Ertiga looks good as the MPV looks spacious and is better looking than the Triber. From the inside, the Ertiga looks good given the Triber looks decent from the inside.

In the end, the decision to buy which model depends totally on you, however, it is recommended to buy the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has it’s bigger in dimensions, and has so much space than the Triber, and people can seat comfortably in all the three rows. The Triber is a big MPV as well but the third row is not as comfortable as the Ertiga. Moreover, in safety, the Triber is safer than the Ertiga and has similar features on offer as well. The Engine Performance of both the MPVs is good, but in fuel efficiency, the Ertiga is more efficient than the Triber.
