Kia EV3 SUV Teased: What You Need to Know!
Kia has teased the production version of the EV3 concept ahead of its global debut on May 23. From the looks of it, the difference between the version launching and the teased one will be very minimal. One noticeable change is the Star Map lighting on the production model, which has been tweaked slightly. The headlamps have been refined with horizontal elements, similar to the EV9, replacing the vertical ones seen on the concept.

Similarly, while the taillights appear to be the same size, the diagonal contrast on the concept has been replaced by a pattern of vertical lines running into the tailgate. Apart from these adjustments, not much else seems to have changed visually. Moreover, the concept’s four-spoke wheels will also be retained. The design element of EV3 is largely similar to the EV9.
Inside, it’s expected to retain many of the concept’s features which will transition to production. This could include the EV3’s climate control panel, which slides out from underneath the dashboard, as well as rows of air vents with backlit and motorized components that direct airflow throughout the cabin. The movable center console between the front seats, capable of being locked into different positions to serve as a table, is also expected to make an appearance.
Additionally, the EV3’s rear bench can be flipped upward to accommodate tall items on the SUV’s flat load floor, reminiscent of Honda Fit’s Magic Seats. Kia is also exploring ways to integrate the EV3’s vehicle-to-load charging system inside the car, allowing for on-the-go charging of items like e-bikes loaded into the back of the SUV.
The EV3 is expected to draw power around 150 BHP from a 40 kWh Battery Pack with Single and Dual Motor Setup and expected to offer 400 – 500 KMs Range in Single Charge. Upon Launch in India which is expected to take place in 2025, it’ll sit below the EV6 in the line-up.
