Verdict
Both Tata Harrier EV and Mahindra XEV.9e offer strong value in the premium electric SUV space. If long range and tech-laden interiors are your top priority, the XEV.9e stands out with its 656 KM MIDC range, faster charging, and a larger frunk and boot. It also brings a premium in-cabin experience with a triple-screen layout, HUD, and a powerful 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. However, the Harrier EV fights back with AWD availability, quicker acceleration, better off-road features like Terrain Modes and Off-road Assist, and a lower starting price. It also offers segment-first features like Transparent Bonnet View and e-IRVM with dashcam recording. If you’re looking for a more feature-rich electric SUV for adventure and occasional off-roading, the Harrier EV makes a compelling case. On the other hand, urban buyers seeking range, tech, and practicality will find the XEV.9e to be a more polished, family-friendly choice. Both are future-ready SUVs, but your lifestyle will ultimately decide which one fits better.
