Tata Nexon has the reduced the price of its base model after a huge drop in sales, and another SUV who poses as a threat to them. In this article, we’ll describing all things about the base variant of the Nexon.
Tata Motors recently made headlines when they announced a price cut in variants. They have discontinued the Smart variant and introduced a new Smart (O) variant which is priced at Rs. 7.99 Lakh and affordable by Rs. 16,000 over the Smart trim which was priced at Rs. 8.15 Lakh.

The Smart (O) variant from the outside gets Dual-Functional LED DRLs, Halogen Projector Headlamps at the front; Piano Black ORVMs with LED Turn Indicators, and 15-inch steel wheels, and at the rear we’ve got LED Tail-lamps. Inside, we’ve got 2-spoke Steering Wheel with Illuminated logo, Fabric Upholstery for the Cabin, Manual AC Controls, and thats about it.
In Engine Options, it only gets the 1.2 L Turbo Petrol engine producing 118 BHP and 170 NM Torque mated to 5 Speed Manual Gearbox only.
In Features, it gets 3 Drive Modes – Eco, City, and Sport; Tilt and Collapsible Steering, Power Outlet on Floor Console, and Vanity Mirror on Co-Driver side. In terms of Safety, it gets standard 6 Airbags, ESP, Rear Parking Sensors, Central Lock, and Hill Hold Control among other safety techs.
