Which SUV should you invest in? Is it going to be the Tata Nexon or is it going to be Maruti Brezza? Which one would you choose? Well, to help you make that decision, let’s put the two against each other to find that out!
Tata Nexon vs Maruti Brezza – Exterior and Interior
Tata Nexon front has black element that connect withs the LED headlamps with LED DRLs inside the headlamps that kind of look similar to the rear taillamps and the bottom is the tri-arrow grille with fog lamps at the sides. From the side, it has creases to give it mean look. It has a non-functional roof-rail and rides on the 16-inch alloy wheels. The front and rear bumper are finished in silver faux skid plate. At the rear, it has LED taillamps with two lines within them and has a rear wiper at the rear windscreen with shark fin antenna on top.
At the front as you can see, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, we can see the hard plastic front of the grille joining the LED headlamps and inside the headlamps unit is the L-shaped LED DRLs, and the bumpers both front and rear are finished in faux skid silver plate. Moving to the side, the whole SUV has body cladding with 16-inch alloy wheels and functional roof rails. At the rear, it has horizontally Y-shaped LED taillamps with rear wiper on the rear windscreen, a roof spoiler at the top, and shark fin antenna on top.
From the inside, the Nexon has a 7-inch infotainment system placed above the AC vents, and the AC Vents are positioned horizontally. The Nexon does not have the dual-tone dashboard option. It has a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with digital instrument cluster, and single-pane sunroof. It has a rotary dial before the gear lever for drive modes, and the buttons for the ventilated seats are placed at the bottom side of the seat. The Nexon has a leather seat upholstery and an 8-speaker Harman sound system. The seats at the rear are split in 60:40 ratio.
As for the Maruti Brezza, it has the same layout as the other Maruti models as it’s got 9-inch infotainment system on top of the AC vents and the rectangle-shaped AC vents at the side. It’s got dual-tone dashboard option as well. The Brezza has the three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with Analog instrument cluster and a TFT display between the Analog dials, and single-pane sunroof. Moving to the rear, it has the seats split in 60:40 ratio, ambient lighting on the doors and at the footrest in the front, and has 6-speakers Arkamys sound system.
So, from the outside, the Maruti Brezza looks good, spacious, and gives premium kind-of vibes than the Nexon where as from the inside, the Maruti Brezza looks and feels premium which the Nexon doesn’t.

When it comes to Dimensions, the Nexon measures 3993mm in length, 1811mm in width, and 1606mm in height. The Brezza measures 3995mm in length which is 2mm longer, width of 1790mm that is 21mm less wide, and height of 1685mm which is taller by 79mm. The Nexon has a wheelbase of 2498mm, ground clearance of 209mm, and boot space of 350 litres, where as the Brezza has a wheelbase of 2500mm that is longer by 2mm, ground clearance of 198mm that is lower by 11mm, and boot space of 328 litres which is smaller by 22 litres. The Nexon has a fuel tank of 44 litres, and kerb weight of 1,315 kg while the Brezza has a 48 litres Petrol fuel tank which is 4 litres bigger and 48 litres of CNG Cylinder which the Nexon doesn’t have, and kerb weight of 1,210 kg which is 105 kg lighter.
So, in Dimensions, the Brezza is bigger in few ways and the Nexon is bigger in few ways.

The Maruti Brezza does not have a turbo powertrain, but it has a non-turbo powertrain on offer. In Safety, the Brezza misses out on Tyre-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Traction Control while the Nexon misses out on six airbags, and 360-degree camera. Tata Nexon vs Maruti Brezza – Verdict
In the end, the decision to buy which SUV depends totally on you, however, it is recommended to buy the Tata Nexon as it’s got better features than the Brezza, good mileage, good space and comfort, affordable than the Brezza, and safer than the Brezza.. The Brezza looks good as well from the outside and from the inside, we almost the same and better feature than the Nexon, great mileage than the Nexon, and good space on offer. So, if you’re looking for a spacious premium SUV, then you can opt for the Maruti Brezza otherwise if you’re tighter on budget and want’s to spend less and has better features and safety than Brezza, then the Tata Nexon is for you.
