Tata Safari Facelift (Expected: Mid October 2023)
The teaser Tata Motors released also showed the Safari Facelift, and here are the changes it’ll undergo. The front fascia as been changed completely with changes to the grille, bumpers, and headlamps. A full-width LED strip is above the grille that spans across the front body, side profile of the Safari will likely be same except it will sport new alloy wheel design. Moving to the rear, changes extend to the bumpers, skid plate, and new Audi inspired LED taillights connected by an LED strip.
The interior have undergone changes as well as it will be getting the new 12.3-inch infotainment system that will be thinner, sharper and smoother than the outgoing version, new Steptronic Gear shifter, rotary dial for the drive mode, digital display on the four-spoke steering wheel that illuminates Tata logo in the center, and control the new configurable 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster that can display navigation maps, touch-sensitive screen on the center console for climate control, and ambient lighting on the dashboard, around sunroof, and doors. The Safari already comes with 360 Surround View Camera, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats for front rows, and if you opt for 6 Seater Config, you’l get ventilated seats in second row as well.
The Safari facelift is expected to get a new 1.5 L turbo petrol engine which will produce 170 BHP and 280 NM of torque mated to a 6-speed Manual Gearbox and 7-speed DCT Gearbox . It already comes with 2.0 L turbo diesel engine which produces 167.67 BHP and 350 NM of torque paired to 6-speed Manual and 6-speed Automatic Gearbox.
