The updated prices aim to make the all-electric SUV more accessible and competitive in its segment. MG ZS EV Features and Range
The MG ZS EV is powered by a 50.3 kWh prismatic cell battery pack and delivers a claimed range of 461 km on a single charge. It supports Level 2 ADAS, comes with over 75 connected car features, and includes premium tech such as a digital key and electronic parking brake. Additional highlights include rear disc brakes, DRLs with integrated indicators, electronic stability control, hill-hold control, and creep mode. The battery pack meets IP69K, ASIL-D, and UL2580 safety standards.
Inside the cabin, the ZS EV offers a spacious layout along with premium materials and tech-driven features, especially in the top-spec trims. These changes are expected to further increase its appeal among electric SUV buyers in India.
MG’s Growth and Future Plans
In May 2025, MG Motor India registered wholesale figures of 6,304 units, a strong 40% growth compared to 4,510 units in May 2024. Much of this momentum was driven by high demand for the new Windsor Pro variant of the ZS EV, which has quickly become the brand’s best-seller.
Looking ahead, MG is preparing to launch three new models in India. These include the Cyberster electric sportscar, the M9 electric MPV, and a premium SUV named Majestor. All three models will be sold via MG’s upscale retail channel, MG Select.
By offering aggressive discounts on its flagship EV and expanding its premium lineup, MG Motor is clearly reinforcing its commitment to India’s electric vehicle space. The ZS EV, with its new pricing, stands as a strong rival to models like the Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE.6, Mahindra XUV400 EV, and BYD Atto 3.
