This brand just dropped a bombshell announcement of offering Lifetime Battery Warranty for 2 electric SUVs!

Tata Motors, India’s best-selling electric car brand, has expanded its Lifetime High Voltage (HV) Battery Warranty to cover the Nexon EV 45 and Curvv EV. After first launching this initiative with the Harrier EV, the brand is now offering the same warranty to its popular compact and mid-size electric SUVs. This move aims to enhance customer confidence and offer greater long-term value.

Lifetime Battery Warranty for Nexon EV and Curvv EV

The Lifetime HV Battery Warranty covers unlimited kilometers and is available for both new and existing customers. Initially rolled out with the Harrier EV, the positive customer response encouraged Tata Motors to extend the program to the Curvv EV and Nexon EV 45 kWh variants.

This offer applies to all private individual first owners of the Nexon.ev 45 and Curvv.ev, regardless of whether they are new buyers or current users. The 45 kWh Nexon EV variants include Creative, Fearless, Empowered, and Empowered+, priced between Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It offers a real-world range of 350–375 km and delivers 142 bhp and 215 Nm torque.

The Curvv EV is available in two battery pack options—45 kWh and 55 kWh. The 45 kWh versions are offered in Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S variants, starting from Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the 55 kWh versions come in Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A trims, with pricing starting from Rs 19.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-spec Curvv EV Dark Edition with the 55 kWh battery is priced at Rs 22.24 lakh (ex-showroom).

By offering this lifetime warranty, Tata Motors aims to eliminate range anxiety and reduce long-term ownership costs associated with battery replacement. This warranty is expected to positively impact the resale value of Tata electric vehicles as well.

Rs 50,000 Loyalty Bonus on EVs

To further boost EV adoption, Tata Motors is also offering a loyalty bonus of up to Rs 50,000 for existing Tata EV customers. This bonus is applicable on the purchase of the Nexon.ev 45 and Curvv.ev 45 kWh variants. It adds more value for loyal customers while encouraging upgrades to newer models.
