Leading the sales chart once again was the Mahindra Scorpio, which clocked 12,740 units, registering a 4% YoY growth. However, it saw a 12% drop compared to May 2025. The Mahindra Thar showed impressive performance with 9,542 units sold, marking a massive 77% increase YoY, though MoM sales dropped by 8%. The Bolero maintained steady demand with 7,478 units, growing by 2% YoY but falling by 16% MoM.

The newly launched XUV 3XO, which replaces the XUV300, saw 7,089 units sold, but this was 17% lower than June 2024 and 11% lower than May 2025, hinting at some tapering of initial demand. Meanwhile, the XUV700 saw stable performance with 6,198 units, up by 5% YoY but slightly down by 4% MoM.

Marazzo 17 4 +13 +325%
TOTAL 47,306 52,431 -5,125 -10%

On the EV front, Mahindra’s electric SUV XEV.9E sold 2,808 units, while the recently introduced BE 6 added 1,203 units. These are fresh entries, so no YoY comparisons exist. Both EVs recorded flat MoM movement, with negligible difference in numbers. However, XUV400 sales continued to decline, dropping 57% YoY and 20% MoM, with only 231 units sold in June 2025.

The Mahindra Marazzo, though a niche player, showed signs of life with 17 units sold — up 42% YoY and a sharp 325% jump from just 4 units in May.

Overall, Mahindra’s YoY growth highlights strong market acceptance, especially for SUVs and new EV models. However, the 10% MoM decline indicates a slowdown, likely due to seasonality or production adjustments. With new launches and festive demand around the corner, Mahindra is expected to recover ground and aim for stronger numbers in the coming months.

Final Thoughts

Mahindra saw strong growth in June 2025 compared to last year, thanks to good sales of the Scorpio, Thar, and new EVs like the XEV.9E and BE 6. However, monthly sales dropped slightly due to slower demand or supply changes. The rising interest in Mahindra’s EVs and steady SUV sales show that the brand is on the right track. With festive season ahead, Mahindra is likely to bounce back with even stronger numbers.
