Royal Enfield has a achieved a big milestone by surpassing 5 Lakh Sales Units!

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has achieved a major milestone, surpassing 5 lakh unit sales in less than two and a half years since its launch in August 2022. This impressive achievement highlights the bike’s strong demand, particularly among young riders, new motorcyclists, and those returning to riding.

A Game Changer for Royal Enfield

The Hunter 350 was the first proper roadster built on the J-series 350cc platform and has remained the second best-selling Royal Enfield motorcycle after the Classic 350. Its affordability and relatively light kerb weight of 181 kg—compared to its Classic, Bullet, and Meteor siblings—have made it an attractive choice for urban riders. Royal Enfield’s Chief Commercial Officer, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, acknowledged this milestone, stating,

“The Hunter 350 has truly redefined what it means to ride in urban and dynamic environments. Reaching the 500,000 sales milestone in a short time is a reflection of the immense love and trust of our customers for the Hunter 350. An ever-growing vibrant community of passionate riders of Hunter 350 have made it a disruptor in the mid-size motorcycle segment.”

Demand & Global Reach

Royal Enfield manufactures around 15,000 to 17,000 units of the Hunter 350 each month, catering to high demand not just in India but also in international markets such as APAC, Europe, North America, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. The model has played a crucial role in expanding Royal Enfield’s reach into metro cities as well as Tier-2 and Tier-3 regions.

The Hunter 350 is available in two variants:

  • Retro – Priced at Rs. 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom)
  • Metro – Ranging from Rs. 1.69 – 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom)

Powering the Hunter 350 is a 349cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

Updated Model Expected in 2024

Royal Enfield has been testing an updated version of the Hunter 350, expected to address one of its key criticisms—its stiff rear suspension. The new model is anticipated to launch later this year, though it remains unclear whether there will be a price revision.

With its strong sales momentum, affordability, and growing global presence, the Hunter 350 continues to solidify its position as a top performer in Royal Enfield’s lineup.
