KIA CARNIVAL FACELIFT  FULLY REVEALED!

EXTERIOR

The Updated Carnival features new design compared to what we saw at the Auto Expo 2023. It has upright nose, L-shaped headlamps with DRLs, faux brushed aluminium skid plate. The L-shape theme continues at rear with the tail lamps via connected LED light bar. The Facelift Carnival features 19-inch alloys similar to the EV5 and EV9.

INTERIOR & FEATURES

The Facelift Carnival is available in 4, 7, and 9-STR Configuration. It gets a new dual 12.3-inch curved unit for infotainment and instrument cluster. The AC and Audio controls are below the central screen, a rotary drive selector, dashcam front and rear, Heads-up Display, digital IRVM, updated digital key, ambient light along the dashboard, and an option to start the vehicle with your fingerprint.

SAFETY

In terms of Safety, it gets updated ADAS Suite with addition of Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Assist, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, High Beam Assist, and so on. It gets eight airbags as standard. Other than that, it gets Hill Descent Control, TPMS, Hill Assist, ESC, 360 Surround View Camera, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, and more.

The Carnival Facelift has three powertrain options - 3.5 L V6 Petrol, 1.6 L Petrol Hybrid, and 2.2 L Diesel. Kia revealed that the Petrol Hybrid Powertrain is capable of producing 243 BHP and 367 NM of torque. The 3rd Gen model had 2.2 L Diesel engine, so it remains to be seen what powertrain comes with the MUV for India.

ENGINE OPTIONS

Kia India boss back in July had confirmed that the new version of Carnival will launch in 2024. "We don't want old styles to come in India, we want the best, newest model to premiere here."
