Honda Elevate will launch on June 6th.

In just few weeks, Honda will be globally premiering the all-new mid-size SUV, Elevate, that will rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun. Therefore, here are the five features that you should probably know about the Elevate SUV!

360-Degree Camera

Few of the Elevate rivals has the 360-degree camera on offer such as the Maruti Grand Vitara, MG Astor, Toyota Hyryder, etc, where as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun are yet to get the feature. Honda could add this feature in the Elevate to have an advantage over few of it’s rivals.

Ventilated Seats

A Common Feature in the mid-size SUV these days is the Ventilated seats which many carmakers are adding such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder. Honda can add this feature in the Elevate and level the playing field with it’s competitors.

ADAS

Honda currently offers ADAS tech only in City and since the SUV is build on the same platform on which the City is build, it could also have ADAS as well with features such as – Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System, and Auto High Beam. It is possible Honda might add more features in ADAS.

Increased Safety!

The Government of India had announced that from October 1st, 2023, no carmaker will be allowed to sell the models unless all variants of that model has six airbags as standard. While Honda will offer six airbags in it’s model, it’s possible it’ll have six airbags as standard across all the variants. Other than the airbags, Honda could also add Rain-Sensing Wipers as many carmakers offer this feature as it’s useful in rainy season.

Wireless Features!

Honda does not offer wireless features with one example being the Honda City. The City has wireless charging but it’s part of an optional accessories, and does not offer Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. This could change as Honda can add Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto in the Elevate with Wireless Charging which won’t be a part of the optional.
