It is time to put the Hyundai Exter to test against the Nissan Magnite to find out if the Hyundai’s SUV is worth buying over the Nissan’s SUV!

Hyundai Exter vs Nissan Magnite – Design

From the outside, the Exter has flat bonnet with a big Hyundai logo on it and the three-tier design nose. It has H-shaped LED DRLs that are connected via a black strip and the headlamps are square shape that are halogen projector headlights. Then there is the body cladding finished in matte black all over the car to contribute towards the Exter’s looks. Moving to the side, you’ll realize the SUV has boxy shape. The doors seems to be big enough to accommodate easy in’s and out’s of the SUV. The alloy wheels, roof rails, A and B-pillars has the dual-tone treatment, and the SUV is equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, it has an upright tailgate with the rear windshield slightly tilted, shark fin antenna at the top, small roof-spoiler, flat and tall rear bumper with dual-tone finished. The taillamps has an H-shaped in them with a big black panel and big 2D Hyundai logo at the center.

From the outside, the Magnite has a hexagonal-like grille with hexagonal-like pattern and has sharp LED Projector headlamps and below the headlamps is the L-shaped LED DRLs. The bumpers both at the front and the rear is skid plate, and on the front body, it has few cuts for sporty look. Moving to the side, it has chrome door handles, chrome line on the bottom frame of the window, and few cuts on the body with body cladding. At the rear, it has spoiler with shark fin antenna on top, and LED headlamps.

From the inside, the Hyundai Exter has an 8-inch infotainment system with two round dials on left and right of the system, and four buttons both the sides above the dials to control the infotainment system. The Exter comes with dual-tone dashboard theme option with round AC vents at the sides, and rectangular AC vents below the infotainment system. The Exter has a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control below the AC vents, single-pane sunroof on top, and dual dashcams – one behind the IRVM, and the other on the rear windshield. Moving to the rear, the seats are split in 60:40 ratio with the center passenger getting no headrest, rear AC vents, and it’ll have 6-speaker sound system.

From the inside, the Nissan Magnite has the 7-inch infotainment system placed below the hexagonal shape AC vents. It has dual-tone dashboard theme option. The Magnite has three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with digital instrument cluster, the push engine start/stop button is placed below the automatic climate control, and has sliding armrest. At the rear, it has the seats split in 60:40 split, and has a 6-speaker JBL sound system.

In terms of dimensions,  the Hyundai Exter measures 3815mm in length, 1710mm in width, and 1631mm in height. The Nissan Magnite on the other hand measures 3995mm in length which is 180mm longer, 1758mm in width that is 48mm wider, and 1572mm in height which is shorter by 59mm.
