Ola Electric has teased the S1 Air that is set to launch later this month with bookings open from July 28th, and deliveries starting from early August 2023!

Ola Electric is gearing up for the event scheduled for later this month where they’ll be making few announcements with the headliner being the S1 Air.

Ola S1 Air Teased – What you should know!

On Social Media, Ola Electric teased the S1 Air, where they’re claiming that the affordable electric scooter has been tested for over 5,00,000 km. Ola Electric is expected to launch the S1 Air at their #EndofICEAge Event scheduled for later this month. The S1 Air will come with hub motor instead of belt drive used on the S1 and S1 Pro. Ola initially had announced the S1 Air with a 2.7 kW battery pack but then later upgraded it to 4.5 kW battery pack with claimed range of 125 km, and it’ll have three riding modes – Eco, Normal, and Sports and top speed of 85 kmph.

Now, what’s the difference between the S1 and S1 Air? Well, Ola had get rid of few features to cut the pricing of the S1 Air, and instead of monoshock suspension at front, it comes with telescopic forks, and at the rear, it comes with twin shock absorbers instead of monoshock suspension. Moreover, the front and rear brakes has been replaced from disc brakes to drum brakes, the curved bottom that would make the S1 and S1 Pro a bit impractical is now replaced with flat floor, and grab rail at the rear is replaced with other unit.

The S1 Air in design looks very identical to the S1 and S1 Pro. The design elements like the LED DRLS, headlamps, body panels, front apron, and rear taillight has been carried over to the S1 Air. The S1 Air will be available in five dual-tone color themes – Coral Glam, Porcelain White, Midnight Blue, and Liquid Silver. Additionally, Ola Electric announced that the booking window for the S1 Air will open on 28th July with deliveries beginning from early August.
