BYD has just launched two new cars in India – an SUV and an Sedan both of them gets big upgrades!

Marking the first anniversary of the BYD Seal in India, BYD has introduced upgrades for both the Seal electric sedan and the Atto 3 electric SUV as part of the 2025 model year update. The enhancements focus on improving performance, comfort, and technology, reinforcing BYD’s commitment to the Indian EV market.

2025 BYD Atto 3 – New Features & Pricing

Since its launch, the BYD Atto 3 has sold over 3,100 units in India. The latest update introduces an all-black interior, replacing the previous three-tone theme. Additionally, the driver and front passenger seats now come with ventilation for added comfort.

A major technical upgrade is the switch from a lead-acid battery to a new Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) low-voltage battery. This LFP battery is six times lighter, offers five times better self-discharge performance, and has a lifespan of 15 years, improving efficiency and durability.

As part of BYD’s anniversary celebrations, the first 3,000 buyers of the 2025 Atto 3 will get the vehicle at 2024 prices. Bookings are open for a Rs 30,000 deposit, with prices as follows:

  • Dynamic Variant: 49.92 kWh battery | 468 km range (ARAI-certified)
  • Premium Variant: 60.48 kWh battery | 521 km range (ARAI-certified)
  • Superior Variant: 60.48 kWh battery | 521 km range (ARAI-certified)

Ex-showroom prices range between Rs 24.99 lakh and Rs 33.99 lakh, depending on the variant.

2025 BYD Seal – New Features & Bookings

The BYD Seal has achieved sales of 1,300 units in its first year and now comes with key feature updates across all variants. The sedan now gets a powered sunshade, which was previously available only as an optional accessory. Additionally, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard, improving smartphone connectivity.

The car’s air conditioning system has been upgraded with a larger compressor and enhanced air purification for better cooling efficiency.

In terms of suspension, the Premium variant now benefits from Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD), which were earlier exclusive to the top model. Meanwhile, the Performance trim debuts BYD’s DiSus-C intelligent damping system, which adjusts the suspension in real time to improve ride quality and handling.

For entertainment, the Seal now includes a sound wave function, optimizing cabin acoustics for an enhanced audio experience.

BYD Seal Battery & Range

  • Dynamic Variant: 61.44 kWh battery | 510 km range
  • Premium Variant: 82.56 kWh battery | 650 km range
  • Performance Variant: 82.56 kWh battery | 580 km range

Bookings for the 2025 BYD Seal are open with a Rs 1.25 lakh deposit, while official pricing will be revealed in April 2025.
