Ford Freestyle to get a new colour and many new features | Price hike?

Ford Freestyle was launched in India in April 2018 in the form of India’s first CUV.Since it’s launch,it has received a good response in the market.Now after some months of it’s official launch,the company has decided to give Freestyle a minor update in the form of certain stylish and comfort features add-on along with a new colour paint.

The add-on features includes body coloured outside rear view mirror which would replace the black coloured ones.Along with this,the rear seat headrest are now adjustable.Colour offered on Freestyle includes Canyon Ridge, White Gold, Smoke Grey, Moondust Silver, Absolute Black and Oxford White.The new colour that is going to be added in updated Freestyle is Ruby Red.

The prices to Freestyle will also be increased simultaneously given the new features on offer.The Ambiente model gets costlier by Rs. 14,000, Trend variant is now Trend Plus,which gets a price hike of Rs. 4,000, Titanium trim price increases by Rs. 9,000 while there is no change in the pricing of the Titanium+ variant.

Ford Freestyle is based on Figo hatchback with rugged looks.It has a ground clearance of 190 mm.The front of the CUV features a blacked out grille,silver skid plates.Freestyle sits on 15-inch Alloys.On the rear,Freestyle gets slightly different tail light when compared to Figo.

Freestyle is known for its great off roading capability and its top notch safety features.The top-spec trim of Freestyle comes with safety features including Hill Launch Assist, Electronic Stability Program, 6 Airbags, Traction Controls, Rain Sensing Wipers and Reverse Parking Sensors.Other comfort and convenience features includes Ford My Key, auto headlamps, keyless entry with push start/stop button, auto A/C, 6.5-inch SYNC3 touchscreen system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

Freestyle is offered in two engine options.The first one is the 1.2-litre 3 cylinder Dragon Series which outputs 95 bhp of power and the second is the powerful 1.5-litre with 100 bhp power.Both these units get a 5-speed manual gearbox.
