Maruti Swift Special Edition Launched at Rs. 4.99 Lakhs;Check out its Features and Price

Maruti Suzuki launched the New Maruti Swift hatchback at Auto Expo 2018.Since then,it has maintained a strong position in the Indian market with about 18,000-19,000 units of Maruti Swift being sold every month.To provide more choices at a better price to it’s customers,MSIL announced the special edition of Maruti Swift.

The Swift Special Edition is based on Swift’s lower trims – LXi and LDi.The Special Edition Swift comes with many features add-on in the basic variants.All these additional accessories along with paint job will be performed by the company dealership.Features have added on both interior and exterior front.Exterior features added includes body coloured ORVM, body coloured door handles along with stylish wheel covers finished in black.When you step inside the cabin,you will notice that this particular model features a single DIN music system along with front two power windows.Safety features of Special Edition includes reverse parking sensors and remote central locking system.

Swift Special Edition,which is only restricted to the standard variant,is offered in two engine options.First is the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine with power and torque of 83 PS @ 6,000 RPM and 115 NM @ 4,000 RPM respectively.The second unit,1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine makes 74 BHP @ 4,000 RPM and 190 NM @ 2,000 RPM.Both these engines are paired to 5-speed manual and automatic transmission.

Currently,the Swift hatchback is available in 14 variants with price ranging between Rs. 4.99 Lakhs and Rs. 8.76 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom,Delhi) and also the Swift’s Special Edition is also priced at Rs. 4.99 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom,Delhi).This will surely make the base model of Swift hatchback a great choice and value for money variant.
