2019 Maruti Suzuki WagonR will launch in India on January 23, 2019.It will be available in 3 variants – LXI, VXI and ZXI and a variety of engine options.It will be available in 6 colour options and recently 2019 WagonR ZXI 1.2 in brown colour has been spied testing.
The spy shots reveals the front and rear section of WagonR 1.2 ZXI.Upfront, it gets a big headlamp unit which merges into the grille.Grille is treated with a thick chrome bar which houses Suzuki logo in the centre.Along with this, exterior features includes fog lamps, big air intakes and black coloured skid plates.
Skid Plates which are blackened out are even seen in the rear section.Rear wiper + washer and defogger adds to the safety.Chrome boot garnish of ZXI trim houses the WagonR text on it.High mount stop lamp, stylish tail lamps and reflector enchances the overall look of the hatchback.It sits on 14-inch R14 165/70 wheels.
WagonR 1.2 engine is the unit derived from Swift, Dzire which outputs 83 PS @ 6,000 RPM and max torque of 115 NM @ 4,200 RPM.The BS-IV compliant engine will be offered in VXI and ZXI manual and automatic variants.
Standard safety kit of WagonR 2019 includes ABS with EBD, Rear Parking Sensors, Speed Alert System, Driver Seatbelt Reminder, Front Dual Airbags, Door Open Warning.The top end trim of WagonR gets electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, 7-inch infotainment system and tachometer, 60:40 split seats, keyless entry and Day/Night IRVM.
New WagonR 2019 will be slightly on the premium side in terms of pricing and will take on Tata Tiago, Renault Kwid, Hyundai Santro.
