Altroz gets 6 Speed DCA gearbox

Altroz DCA packs in some additional equipment like wet clutch with active cooling technology, best suited for hot weather conditions and in bumper-to-bumper traffic.

It also boasts machine learning which compares performance of car with the ideal parameters and simultaneously adjusts the transmission.

To ensure jerk free and quick gear shifts, it also features segment first shift by wire technology, which means completely electronic without the use of any shifter cables.

Self healing mechanism is another interesting feature of this gearbox which has a self healing setup apart from standard filtration to clear out dust which could otherwise affect the performance of transmission.

Auto Park Lock function

Last feature on the list is Auto Park Lock which is meant to automatically engage the parking mode in case the driver forgets to do so and comes out of the car. It does this by detecting the absence of the driver (no seatbelt, no pedal active, engine on and door open).
