Tata Motors will soon add a new top model to it’s Tiago range.This can be seen as Santro effect as the top-spec trim of New Santro offers a number of premium features including touchscreen system.This new model of Tiago, i.e, XZ+ will come with certain best In segment features and is going to be launched in India on December 12.
Tiago XZ Plus model will get stylish 15-inch Dual tone alloy wheel as compared to the 14-inch wheels of its below model.Exterior features for this model includes Projector Headlamps similar to those of the recently updated Tata Tigor along with smoked black bezel.Along with this, certain others addition have been made on exterior.Side body moulding is added for the XZ+ model.Tiago XZ+ features a thick chrome applique on the tail gate.A contrasting roof will be offered with certain colours.Electrically foldable Outside Rear View Mirror with welcome function are some other premium top-spec features.
Moving inside the cabin, new features have been added in the form of ConnectNext 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman same as of Tigor Facelift XZ+ with connectivity options including Android Auto, Incoming SMS Notifications, Voice Command Recognition, Digital Controls for FATC with display for reverse parking camera.This new model of Tiago which will sit at the top of the lineup also sports Automatic A/C and 4 Speakers along with 4 Tweeters surround sound system.
Tiago XZ+ model will be offered with two new colour options – Canyon Orange and Ocean Blue.A total of 6 single tone colours will be offered in Tiago XZ+ model – Pearlescent White, Espresso Brown, Berry Red, Titanium Grey, Canyon Orange (NEW) and Ocean Blue (NEW).Apart from this, Tiago XZ+ Dual Tone will come with black roof.Colour schemes for XZ+ Dual Tone includes Pearlescent White, Berry Red, Titanium Grey, Canyon Orange and Ocean Blue with Black Roof.
No mechanical changes have been made.It will continue to be powered by the earlier 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine generating 85 BHP of power and 114 NM torque and smaller 1.05-litre diesel unit making 70 BHP of power.Both these engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.Although XT and XZ variants get automatic variant, it is likely that Tata may bring AMT gearbox even for this new top-spec fully loaded trim.
Coming to the price, Tiago XZ+ single tone model is expected to be launched with a price tag of Rs. 5.7 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom) while the Tiago XZ+ Dual Tone will be priced somewhere around Rs. 5.9 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom).
