Tata Motors India has recently updated its highest selling hatchback, Tiago, lineup with a new top-spec trim, XZ Plus which comes with all the bells and whistles.This new model has a number of premium features over XZ model as well as it’s rivals.This new model is introduced as to rival Santro’s top spec-trim Asta which offers number of premium features.
Tata has released a new commercial for it’s XZ+ model.This video explains the features of XZ+ model in a very exciting manner.The main exterior elements of this trim includes Projector headlamps with smoked black bezel, Chrome accent on tailgate, Body Side Moulding, Contrast black roof and spoiler option and Sporty 15″ dual tone alloy wheels(which are offered only in Tiago XZ+ petrol) and two new colour schemes.On the inside, it gets Premium Full Fabric Seats and Premium Knitted Roof Liner.
In terms of safety, Tata has provided Tata Emergency Assist.It also gets ConnectNext 7″(17.78cm) touchscreen system by Harman with Android Auto, Call reject with SMS feature, Incoming SMS notifications and read-outs, Voice Command Recognition through Android Auto, Image and Video Playback, Tata Smart Remote and Trip ON.4 Tweeters are offered for this variant.For the comfort and convenience of the passengers, Fully Automated Temperature Control, Electrically Foldable ORVM and ORVM Welcome Function – Auto Fold on Locking/Unlocking are an addition.
Tata Tiago is the highest selling model for Tata which averages at 9,000 units sales per month.This new variant which comes with tons of new features while coutinuing with same engine options which further help Tiago to strengthen it’s position in small hatchback segment.
