Korean Carmaker, Kia India, has revealed the fuel efficiency of it’s upcoming new Sub-4 Meter SUV that competes against 10 other SUVs in the segment!

Kia India is gearing up to launch the Kia Syros on February 1st, aiming to compete in the highly competitive compact SUV segment. With 10 other models in this category, the Syros will face stiff competition. We now have the official ARAI-rated fuel efficiency figures for the Syros, so let’s see how it measures up against its rivals.

Kia Syros Fuel Efficiency Details

The Kia Syros is offered in both petrol and diesel variants. It features a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 118hp, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The ARAI-rated fuel efficiency for the petrol variant stands at 18.2 KMPL for the Manual and 17.68 KMPL for the DCT.

For petrol efficiency, Maruti Fronx and Toyota Taisor dominate the rankings in both manual and automatic options. The Kia Syros, while offering decent numbers, lags slightly behind these top performers. It performs closely to the Kia Sonet and Skoda Kylaq but trails Maruti and Toyota models in economy.

The Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue lead in diesel manual fuel efficiency, while the Nexon excels with its automatic option. The Kia Syros performs respectably but falls short compared to these segment leaders.

Where the Kia Syros Stands

The Syros delivers competitive fuel efficiency figures, though it falls slightly short of its sibling Kia Sonet and the Skoda Kushaq in terms of economy. However, it outperforms rivals like the Tata Nexon, giving it an edge in certain buyer preferences.

Stay tuned for more updates on pricing and features as the Kia Syros inches closer to its launch.
