Launched back in September 2023, Honda’s Elevate SUV grossed 1 lakh sales since then which is a significant achievement.

Honda Elevate has reached a significant sales milestone, crossing 1 lakh cumulative sales within 18 months of its launch. The compact SUV, which competes with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara, has gained strong traction in both domestic and international markets.

Honda Elevate Sales Milestone

Launched in September 2023 at an introductory price of Rs. 11 lakh (ex-showroom), the Elevate has been a crucial model for Honda in India. The company has sold 53,326 units in the domestic market, while 47,653 units have been exported to key markets like Japan, South Africa, Nepal, and Bhutan till January 2025.

Honda has made history by exporting the Elevate as the first India-made model to Japan, highlighting its global manufacturing capabilities. This SUV has also contributed significantly to Honda’s export growth, with overseas business increasing by 65% in FY23-24 and 92% in the ongoing financial year till January 2025.

Variants, Price & Special Editions

The Honda Elevate is available in four variants – SV, V, VX, and ZX, with prices ranging from Rs. 11.91 lakh to Rs. 16.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-end ZX variant remains the most popular, with over 50% of buyers opting for it. Additionally, Honda introduced the Signature Black Edition and Apex Edition to enhance customer appeal.

Engine & Transmission

Powering the Elevate is a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. It comes with two transmission options – 6-speed manual and 7-speed CVT automatic. The engine is E20 fuel-compliant, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

Features & Safety

The Elevate follows Honda’s Urban Freestyler concept, offering a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch semi-digital driver display, wireless charging pad, and sunroof. Safety is a key focus, with six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Hold Assist, and Honda Sensing ADAS for advanced driver assistance.

Future Plans: Electric Version in Development

Honda has confirmed that an electric version of the Elevate is in development, aligning with the company’s future mobility plans.

With its strong sales performance and growing customer preference, the Honda Elevate continues to strengthen its position in the competitive Indian SUV market.
