It’s time for another comparison as we will be comparing the Hyundai Venue against the dominating carmaker, Maruti Suzuki’s Brezza to see which SUV is worth buying over the other.

The Hyundai Venue ever since it got facelift update in 2022, the talking point has been the front face. The front has parametric front grille made up of rectangular block with brown-chrome finish and is slightly dark as well. The fog lamps are out and now the Venue has LED headlamps instead of halogen. At the side, it has wheel arches with chrome door handles, and roof rails at the top. Moving to the rear, it has LED taillamps connected by light bar with faux silver skid plate at the rear and the front and it rides on 16-inch alloy wheels.

Hyundai Venue has two petrol engines – 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol that produces 82 bhp and 114 Nm of torque paired to 5-speed Manual Transmission, no Automatic Transmission with fuel efficiency of 18 km/l. The 1.0-litre Turbo petrol that pumps out 120 bhp and 172 Nm of torque comes with 6-speed iMT Transmission (Intelligent Manual Transmission) and 7-speed DCT Transmission and fuel efficiency of 18 km/l.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza has one petrol and one CNG on offer. The 1.5-litre K15C Smart Hybrid petrol engine which puts out 101.62 bhp and 136.8 Nm of torque mated to 5-speed Manual Transmission with fuel efficiency of 19.89 km/l and 6-speed Automatic Transmission with fuel efficiency of 19.8 km/l. The CNG is powered by the same 1.5-litre K15C Smart Hybrid which in CNG puts out 86.63 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed Manual Transmission with efficiency of 25.51 km/kg.

As you can see at the features table, the Brezza misses out on glovebox cooling and doesn’t get digital instrument cluster instead it has Analog instrument cluster with TFT display at the center of the Analog dials, and it also doesn’t get leather seats. The Venue has all these features giving them one point over the Brezza.

As you can see at the safety features, the Brezza misses out on safety features such as Traction control and Tyre-Pressure Monitoring System which the Venue does get. However, Venue misses out on 360-degree camera which the Brezza does get.
