From the inside, the Jeep Compass has a 10.1-inch infotainment system positioned above the AC vents and the AC vents are aligned with chrome line to give it that one clean dashboard look. It has the dual-tone dashboard option as well. The Compass has a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a huge panoramic sunroof. It has 2-zone climate control, and two USB ports at the front and rear. Around the gear lever, it has a metal toggle switch for drive modes, buttons for 4WD lock, hill descent control, 4WD low, and electric parking brake with auto hold. As for the Hyundai Tucson, it has a 10.25-inch infotainment system below the rectangular AC vents and the AC vents are aligned with the chrome line to give one clean distinctive dashboard look. The control for the HVAC are now touch-based and has dual-tone dashboard theme option as well. The Tucson has four-spoke multi-function steering wheel with digital instrument cluster, a huge panoramic sunroof, and the pedals finished in black. Around the gear lever, it has buttons for parking sensors, parking camera, electric parking brake with auto hold function, and hill descent control. It has armrest with storage inside, and ventilated and heated seats button for the passenger and the driver. Moving to the rear, it has the seats split in 60:40 ratio that can be reclined as well and in case there is not enough legroom, with just a press of a button on the side of front passenger seat, you can move the seat ahead. The Tucson has 8-speaker Bose Premium Sound system to hear audio very clearly.
So, from the outside, both the SUVs look very spacious and premium but I would prefer the Tucson design as it’s look much better and it’s bigger than the Compass. Inside, the Compass looks simple, clean, and elegant, yet the interior styling of the Tucson is much more premium than the Compass.
