From the outside, the Kia EV6 has a sportier look from the front which Kia calls “Digital Tiger Nose” with LED headlamps in triangle shape and below that is the LED DRLs and at the bottom center of the grille is the radar for the ADAS. The bonnet has few cuts to contribute towards the sporty look. Moving to the side, it has smaller windows that the other Kia models, cladding on the door, flush door handles for aerodynamics, and rides on the 19-inch Star-shaped alloy wheels. At the rear, it has a roof spoiler with shark fin antenna on top, powered tailgate, it has curved LED taillights with connected LED light bar, and below the taillight is the curve L-shape indicator.


At the front of the Fortuner, there is the grille in three horizontal lines with chrome elements going at the side and covering the LED headlamps on both the sides, below is the bumper finished in faux silver skid plate both front and rear. Moving to the side, it has step-up side step to get into the car with chrome door handles, chrome line at the bottom of the window frames and alloy wheels of 18-inch. At the rear, it has sort-of wing like LED taillamps with chrome around the number plate and a roof spoiler with shark fin antenna on top.


From the inside, the Kia EV6 has a 12.3-inch curved infotainment system that is driver focused, and has the AC vents blend with horizontal line dashboard design for one distinctive dashboard look. It doesn’t have dual-tone dashboard theme option. The EV6 has a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel with 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, it has a single-pane sunroof, rotary dial for drive selection with drive modes, and wireless charging pad below the drive selector. The front seats has ventilated and heated seats and the pedals are finished in metallic grey. The rear seats are split in 60:40 ratio that can be reclined and has 14-speaker Meridian sound system.
As for the Fortuner, it has a 8-inch infotainment system placed below the AC vents and the AC vents at the sides are positioned horizontally. It does not have the dual-tone dashboard theme option but it has leather seat upholstery. The Fortuner has a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with Analog instrument cluster and a TFT display between the Analog dials. It does not have a sunroof but has two charging ports at the front and rear. It has buttons for the ventilated seats and ahead of the gear lever is the wireless pad. The second row has captain seats and the rear seats is better for children or adults for short journeys, and lastly it has the 6-speaker standard sound system.
So, from the outside, the Kia EV6 looks so good, the styling is very well done and really gives spacious and premium vibes where as the Fortuner looks good, but not as good as Kia EV6. From the inside, the Fortuner looks outdated and is in dire need of an update where as the EV6 interiors looks good and very modern.
