Mahindra hiked the price of Thar by Rs. 16,000 to Rs 28,000 and the price has increased across all the variants starting with base Petrol variant AX(O) MT which was earlier priced at Rs. 13.87 L but now is increased by Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 14.03 L. The Scorpio Classic is available in three variants – S, S 9 Seater, and S11. The price hike ranges between Rs. 24,000 to Rs. 26,000 with the base variant S having the big hike of Rs. 26,000 with price jumping from Rs. 12.99 L to Rs. 13.25 L. In the coming weeks, Mahindra is expected to launch the Bolero Neo+ which will be available in 9 Seater layout and will be powered by the 2.2 L Diesel engine that produces 118.35 BHP which is 11.83 BHP less than the Thar and Scorpio Classic. The Bolero Neo+ in economy mode will get it’s power reduced to 92.71 BHP. It’ll be available in 7 variants – P4, P4 7-str, P10, P10 (R), P10 7-str, P10 (R) 7-str, and an Ambulance variant P4 with Stretcher that had launched earlier this month.
