Mahindra has launched a new variant of the Scorpio-N, the Adventure Edition in South Africa, introducing a more rugged version of their SUV. This special edition, based on the top-spec Z8 four-wheel drive variant, features numerous upgrades to enhance its off-road capabilities.

The exterior of the Scorpio-N Adventure Edition sees the most significant changes. The SUV is equipped with new off-road bumpers at both the front and rear, which significantly improve the approach and departure angles. These bumpers are shorter, mounted higher, and made of durable metal to withstand impacts. They come pre-fitted with essential off-road features such as a tow bar, recovery hooks, high-lift jacking points, auxiliary lights, and a winch.

The vehicle rides on new 18-inch alloy wheels with larger profile all-terrain tires, complemented by additional cladding on the wheel arches to accommodate the wider tires. A functional roof rack further enhances its rugged look and utility. Mahindra South Africa has officially launched the Scorpio-N Adventure Edition in their market. Mechanically, the South African-spec Mahindra Scorpio-N mirrors the Indian version, featuring a 2.2 L 4 Cylinder mHawk Diesel Engine that delivers 172 BHP and 400 NM of peak torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Adventure Edition comes with a four-wheel drive system as standard, equipped with various terrain modes including Normal, Grass, Gravel, Snow, Mud, and Sand. Additional off-road features include a mechanical rear-locking differential, an electronic brake-locking differential, hill hold, and hill descent control.
