Mahindra XUV400 EV Big Update: All Details!
Mahindra is all set to introduce new trims for the EV as revealed by the new filed homologated documents. Mahindra will continue with the EC and EL Trims except the “Pro” suffix has been dropped in favour of new suffixes. The EC will get L, L(O), and LL Variants while the EL will get LL(O), LH, LH(O), PH, and PH(O) with the EL PH(O) seemingly a top-spec variant.

Dimensions of XUV400 EV remains the same – 4200 MM Length, 1821 MM width, 1634 MM Height, and 2600 MM Wheelbase. Moreover, the Gross Vehicle Weight is between 1955 KG to 1990 KG with PH(O) the heaviest. However, one big question everyone seems to be asking is didn’t they just updated the EV in January? So, why this new variants again? It seems the XUV3XO is so updated in terms of features making it a better option than the XUV400.
By introducing these new trim levels, Mahindra would distribute the features seen on the XUV3XO in many variants to offer competitive pricing so as to rival the Nexon EV in much better way possible. This means, the EV will get new features such as 360 Surround View Camera, Level 2 ADAS, Panoramic Sunroof, Rear Connected Tail-lamps, 17-inch wheels, and so on.
As for the Battery-specs, it continues with 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh batteries with a single motor. The 34.5 kWh battery is sourced from LG Chem while the 39.4 kWh battery is sourced from LG Chem and Farasis.
The XUV400 EV currently is priced between Rs. 15.49 to Rs. 19.39 Lakh while its rival, Tata Nexon EV is priced between Rs. 14.74 – Rs. 19.99 Lakh.
