The Mercedes-Maybach EQS keeps the same size as the regular EQS SUV but adds a more luxurious and stylish look. At the front, it gets a black panel grille with vertical chrome lines that create the signature Maybach waterfall design. The Mercedes star is now placed on the bonnet, and the body features a two-tone colour scheme—darker shades like black or blue on top, with options like Selenite Gray, Silver, Kalahari Gold, or Velvet Brown below. There’s chrome detailing all around, including Maybach logos in the front bumper and glowing Maybach lettering on the rear light bar. On the side, it comes with 21-inch wheels in special Maybach designs, chrome side steps, chrome window borders, and a Maybach badge on the D-pillar. We had the chance to spend time with the all-electric Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680, and it effortlessly blends high performance with supreme refinement. This luxury EV is powered by a dual-motor AWD setup that delivers a combined output of 658 BHP and 950 Nm of torque. Acceleration is brisk and near-instantaneous, launching the EQS 680 from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. Despite its stately proportions and luxurious focus, the car maintains a silent yet commanding presence on the road. The single-speed transmission ensures seamless power delivery, while the large battery pack offers an impressive claimed range of up to 600 km, with real-world figures expected to fall comfortably between 500–550 km. Thanks to 200 kW DC fast charging support, the EQS 680 can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes, making it long-distance ready.

The driving experience is centered around comfort, but performance never feels compromised. The power delivery is smooth and composed across all drive modes, with Sport mode unleashing its full potential, while Comfort and Eco maintain the plush character expected from a Maybach.
