New 261 KM range electric scooter just launched with craziest features!

Ultraviolette has officially launched its first-ever electric scooter, the Tesseract, at an introductory price of Rs. 1.20 lakh for the first 10,000 buyers. The Tesseract is packed with cutting-edge technology, high performance, and futuristic design, making it one of the most advanced electric scooters in India.

Ultraviolette Tesseract: Performance & Range

The Tesseract is powered by a motor producing 20.1 bhp, enabling it to achieve a 0-60 kmph sprint in just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 125 kmph. While Ultraviolette hasn’t disclosed the battery capacity, it claims an IDC range of 261 km per charge. The scooter also boasts an impressive running cost, with the company stating that Rs. 100 worth of electricity can cover 500 km.

For charging, the fast charger allows an 0-80% charge in under an hour, ensuring minimal downtime.

Advanced Features & Technology

Ultraviolette has loaded the Tesseract with premium features that set it apart from other electric scooters. Some key highlights include:

  • 7-inch touchscreen TFT display with on-board navigation
  • Front and rear radar-assisted dashcams, a world-first for scooters
  • Haptic feedback handlebar for enhanced rider awareness
  • Wireless smartphone charging
  • Floating DRLs and dual LED projector headlights
  • Dual-channel ABS, traction control, and dynamic stability control

The 14-inch aero disc alloy wheels, paired with 110-section front and 140-section rear tyres, provide superior grip and stability.

Design & Practicality

Inspired by combat helicopters, the Tesseract features an aggressive yet futuristic look. Despite its muscular stance, it retains a step-through design for practicality. The 34-litre under-seat storage is spacious enough to fit a full-face helmet, making it a convenient choice for daily commuting.

The Tesseract is available in three colour options – Stealth Black, Sonic Pink, and Desert Sand.

Pricing & Availability

The introductory price of Rs. 1.20 lakh is valid for the first 10,000 customers, after which the price will be set at Rs. 1.45 lakh. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q1 2026, with Ultraviolette expanding its presence to 13 cities across India.

With its cutting-edge features, high performance, and competitive pricing, the Ultraviolette Tesseract is set to redefine the electric scooter segment in India.
