Toyota has launched new Fortuner Legender at Rs. 46.36 Lakh with 4×4 Manual Transmission!

Toyota Fortuner Legender now gets a 4×4 manual transmission variant, launched at a price of Rs 46.36 lakh (ex-showroom). The Legender was available with automatic variants, but now with a manual transmission, it’s surely going to increase the sales for Toyota.

The Fortuner Legender 4×4 MT retains the bold styling of its automatic counterpart with a dual-tone exterior, sharper headlamp DRLs, distinct bumpers, and larger 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. It is offered in a single Platinum White Pearl with Black Roof exterior finish.

Inside, the Legender 4×4 MT features a premium black and maroon dual-tone cabin with leather seats, ambient lighting, a digital infotainment screen, and wireless charging. Toyota Fortuner Legender 4×4 MT: Engine and Performance

Under the hood, the Legender 4X4 MT is powered by the same 2.8 L four-cylinder diesel engine as the automatic variants. It produces 204 hp, but when paired with the 6-speed manual gearbox, torque output is reduced to 420 Nm—80 Nm less than the automatic version. Power is sent to all four wheels through Toyota’s 4X4 system, with no other mechanical changes.

At Rs 46.36 lakh, the Legender 4×4 MT is Rs 1.73 lakh more affordable than the automatic variant, which is priced at Rs 48.09 lakh. In terms of competition, the Legender 4×4 MT stands out as the only model in the segment to offer a manual gearbox with a 4×4 system. Its rivals, including the MG Gloster (Rs 39.57 lakh-44.03 lakh) and the Jeep Meridian (Rs 24.99 lakh-38.79 lakh), lack this combination.
