Kia is looking to increase its presence in India by introducing a new SUV focused solely for the Indian Market. Now, we’ve an update, Kia has been spied testing the Clavis SUV in Korea.

2025 Kia Clavis: What you need to know!

The first spy shots of the SUV has leaked online on the internet showcasing its boxy design, and a rugged look indicating that the SUV could be focused towards the off-road capabilities. While its said to be a lifestyle SUV that will help them fill the gap between the Sonet and the Seltos, Kia could be targeting this SUV partly towards the Jimny and the Thar; you know like a mixture between the two segment SUVs into one.

Since its position above the Sonet, it’ll have features like 360 Surround View Camera, ventilated seats, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, 10.25-inch dual displays – Infotainment System, and Digital Instrument Cluster, Air Purifier, LED Projector Headlamps, Powered Driver Seat, Level 1 ADAS, and so much more.

The Clavis SUV could be getting multiple powertrains like the 1.2 L 4 Cylinder NA Petrol with 5 Speed Manual, 1.0 L 3 Cylinder Turbo Petrol with 6 Speed IMT, and 7 Speed DCT Gearbox; and the 1.5 L 4 Cylinder Diesel Engine mated to 6 Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox.

Kia is looking to create its own segment again with the Clavis and would have no rivals on launch. The Clavis will also spawn an EV powertrain. The Clavis will be unveiled at the end of 2024 with launch taking place in around mid 2025.
