The leaked images of the Thar 5-door in vibrant red exterior paint with its robust and iconic design. It boasts flared wheel arches, a redesigned front grille, circular LED headlamps, vertical tail lamps, and a tail-mounted spare wheel, maintaining the Thar’s distinctive look while adding two extra doors.

The spacious cabin includes a roomy second row and versatile boot space. Premium materials, dual-tone upholstery, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and an electric panoramic sunroof bringing in a lot of airy feeling. Tech-wise, new upgrades feature a fully digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity.
Safety features for the Thar 5-Door include 6 airbags, a 360 Degree Camera, front parking sensors, four-wheel disc brakes, and most importantly, Level 2 ADAS, Hill Descent Control, and so much more.
The Thar 5-door will be offered with a 2.0 Litre Petrol engine with 180 BHP and 400 Nm of Torque, a 2.2 Litre Diesel engine with 150 BHP and 380 NM of torque, and 1.5 Litre Diesel delivering 114 BHP and 250 NM. Transmission options include a 6 Speed Manual and a 6 Speed Automatic. Both rear-wheel and four-wheel drive configurations are expected, enhancing the Thar’s versatility and capability.
Upon launch, it’ll directly rival like the likes of Force Gurkha 5-Door.
