New Royal Enfield Bike Launch on August 30th!

Royal Enfield is set to launch a new “old” motorbike that’ll be updated to the J-Platform.

Royal Enfield is set to launch a brand-new 350cc motorcycle named Bullet 350, which will be the final model to receive updates on RE’s new J-Platform, bidding farewell to the UCE Engine.

RE sent-out Block Your Date for August 30th – September 1st and they added that this is for the launch of ‘old’ bike. It’s not that hard to guess when you realize that this is most likely a reference to the new Bullet 350 that’s in production since 1931 and will be upgraded to the RE’s new J-Platform, getting a much smoother 349cc engine that is already present in the Classic, Meteor, and Hunter 350.

The only bike that is remaining to be updated is the Bullet that currently uses the 349cc UCE engine. With the Bullet 350 getting update on August 30th, it’ll mark the end of UCE engine. As for the engine specifications, we expect the new Bullet 350 to continue to produce 19.72 bhp and 27 Nm of torque which is the same power output as the other models built on J-Platform, and the chassis is expected to be the same as the Classic.

What people will be looking forward is the pricing and where RE positions the new Bullet 350 as the Bullet used to be the most affordable entry-level Royal Enfield in the line-up, until the Hinter 350 launched last year and took the spot. The Hunter 350 currently is priced at Rs. 1.5 – Rs. 1.75 lakh, the Bullet 350 currently is priced at Rs. 1.60 – Rs. 1.69 lakh, and the Classic 350 is priced at Rs. 1.93 – Rs. 2.25 lakh. It remains to be seen where RE will position the new Bullet 350, but it’s likely it’ll be above the Hunter 350.
