Having completed the successful launch of the Creta Facelift, Hyundai Motors is now shifting its focus towards the launch of the Safari, XUV700-rivalling SUV, the Alcazar Facelift for the Indian market. The Alcazar, Hyundai’s formidable contender in the SUV segment, faces stiff competition from rivals such as the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector, and Kia Carens. With its anticipated facelift, Hyundai aims to further enhance the Alcazar’s appeal and solidify its position in this fiercely competitive market segment.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Exterior

The updated Alcazar model boasts a refreshed exterior design, featuring a robust new radiator grille and an upright hood that enhance its commanding road presence. The addition of connected LED DRLs above the grille and split unit vertical LED headlamps with cube-like detailing further accentuates its distinctive look. On the sides, new alloy wheel designs add to the vehicle’s appeal, while the rear now showcases dual L-shape connected taillamps. Hyundai has also updated both the front and rear bumpers.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Interior

Stepping inside, the facelifted Alcazar offers seamlessly integrated 10.25-inch dual displays – one for the infotainment system and one for the fully digital instrument cluster. Below these displays, a touch-sensitive panel allows for intuitive control of the infotainment system and HVAC. The center console has been refined, featuring a new gear lever for automatic transmissions and illuminated buttons for functions like ventilated seats and the electric parking brake. The dashboard receives a redesign with sleek AC vents and a dual-tone theme.

The 1.5 L Turbo Petrol variant delivers 157.57 BHP and 253 NM of torque, paired with either a 6 Speed Manual or 7 Speed DCT gearbox.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: New Features

While the Alcazar already boasted a range of features such as ventilated seats, a 360 Surround View Camera, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof, the facelift introduces new additions like co-driver powered seats, a powered tailgate, and Level 2 ADAS with 19 features including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Forward Collision Warning, among others.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Expected Price and Launch

The outgoing version is priced between Rs. 16.77 – Rs. 21.28 Lakh, and with Hyundai’s recent price hike across its lineup, the new Alcazar is expected to start between Rs. 17 – Rs. 22 lakh. The launch of the updated Alcazar is anticipated within the next three months.
