
Simple Energy has launched a new affordable electric scooter which promises 181 km range on a single charge.
Electric two-wheeler start-up Simple Energy has launched the Simple OneS electric scooter in India at a starting price of Rs. 1.40 Lakh. It boasts an IDC-certified range of 181 km on a single charge, making it the longest-range electric scooter in its price segment.
Performance & Features
The Simple OneS is powered by an 8.5kW PMSM motor paired with a 3.7kWh fixed battery. It offers four riding modes – Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic. In Sonic mode, the scooter accelerates from 0-40 kmph in just 2.55 seconds and has a top speed of 105kmph.
Key features include:
- 7-inch touchscreen dashboard with customisable themes, app integration, and OTA updates
- 5G e-SIM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity
- Turn-by-turn navigation
- Find My Vehicle, TPMS, regenerative braking & rapid braking
- Park Assist with forward & reverse movement
The seat height is 770mm, and the scooter offers 35 litres of under-seat storage. It is available in four colour options – Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red.
Availability & Expansion Plans
The Simple OneS is available at Simple Energy showrooms in Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Kochi, and Mangalore. The company is planning to expand its presence to 23 states, with 150 new stores and 200 service centres by 2026.
The Simple Dot One has been discontinued following the launch of the OneS. Additionally, Simple Energy had introduced an updated version of the Simple One in February 2025, featuring an extended IDC range of 248km.
