Toyota is gearing up to unveil the next generation of the Fortuner, promising substantial upgrades to both its exterior and interior. A standout feature of this refresh is the introduction of a cutting-edge powertrain, integrating a 48V battery to facilitate mild-hybrid technology. This innovative system is set to complement both diesel and petrol engines, aiming to curtail emissions while enhancing fuel efficiency.
The next generation of the Fortuner is set to receive a range of upgrades, with a notable redesign of the front grille featuring a semi-hexagonal shape and three horizontal slats. Enhanced tri-cube LED headlamps, accompanied by sleek LED DRLs, will provide a more distinctive look. The signature side profile remains intact, but new alloy wheels will be introduced.

At the rear, expect connected LED taillamps and updated bumper designs. Inside, subtle changes to the dashboard will accommodate a larger, free-standing 10.25-inch infotainment system, along with slimmer AC vents below. The cabin is likely to include a fully digital instrument cluster and a redesigned 4-spoke steering wheel. The addition of Ottoman Seats in the second row, inspired by the HyCross model, reflects the growing trend of rival offerings featuring Captain Seats.
