Maruti Suzuki have launched number of products this year in Indian market. The two recently updated MPVs are better loaded now. Here is a detailed comparison of Ertiga & XL6 Facelift.
New Ertiga gains new alloys, tweaked front grille and subtle changes at rear while 2022 XL6 looks more sporty with the addition of bigger wheels. More use of chrome on the front grille and rear spoiler makes it a head turner.
While the basic layout is similar, both these MPVs have a different interior theme. Also XL6 comes with 2nd row captain seats option while Ertiga is offered with just 7 seater choice.

Both the MPVs recently got new 1.5 L K15C unit with 101 BHP and 136.8 NM of torque. The difference here lies in claimed fuel efficiency which is higher in XL6 for manual and Ertiga with AT gearbox.

With the availability of CNG option, Ertiga definitely has an upper hand. With the pairing with new CNG, performance is a bit down and at the same time, mileage has risen a bit too.
Prior to the update, XL6 had longer equipment list and same continues post the update as well.

Maruti Ertiga price ranges between Rs 8.35 L and Rs 12.79 L (Ex Showroom), while XL6, based on ZXI & ZXI+ trims of Ertiga, comes in the price bracket of Rs 11.29 L and Rs 14.39 L.
Those aspiring for a sporty look of the car along with high on tech should go for XL6 while the other customers wanting a spacious MPV (XL6 is spacious too) with decent feature list can opt for Ertiga. Also the latter has choice of CNG which ensures a bigger prospective customer oppurtunity.
