Honda had revealed the Elevate SUV globally on June 6th, 2023 and from the outside, it looks good. It comes with good amount of features for it’s segment, yet it misses out on some big features which many of it’s rivals has on offer. Here are those 5 big features that are missing from the Elevate SUV which should’ve been offered by Honda for it to rival it’s competitors and have an edge on them –
Honda has never offered ventilated seats in India with the City, but everyone had hoped that Honda will add this feature in the Elevate SUV for the driver and passenger. Well, bad news, everyone, the variants that we’ve seen at the premiere event didn’t had ventilated seats, and it won’t be available in any variant.
Another big feature that the Elevate SUV misses out on is the panoramic sunroof. Many of it’s rivals – Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has the panoramic sunroof, and the upcoming Kia Seltos facelift will also have panoramic sunroof. At least, a bigger sunroof should’ve been offered by Honda for the Elevate.
Many were expecting Honda to add the 360-degree camera in the Elevate to give it an edge over the segment leader – Hyundai Creta. At the moment, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has the 360-degree camera feature on offer.
Another big miss from Honda in the Elevate SUV is the drive modes. All of it’s rivals has 3 to 5 drive modes for their respective SUVs, and the only SUV that is gonna miss on the drive modes is the Elevate. The drive modes adds feels to your driving, like if you want to drive efficiently, you switch to Eco to save fuel, or if you want to go sportier, you switch to sport mode to feel the wind breezes at high speeds.
Air Purifier is an another feature Honda forgot to add in the Elevate SUV. It’s rivals – Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq has this feature on offer to ensure that you breathe clean and fresh air to avoid getting affected by those harmful gases and airs. Air pollution is so much these days that Air purifier helps breathe clean air while travelling for certain distances.
