Kia India in July 2023 did total sales of 20,002 units with the recently facelifted Seltos pulling 9,740 units alone making it the best-selling SUV for the carmaker. It was overall the eighth best-selling SUV in the country.

In July 2023, Kia launched the Seltos Facelift with big changes interior, exterior, and features-wise, especially Kia introduced ADAS for the SUV to take on its rivals. The Kia Seltos did sales of 9,740 units in July 2023 against the 3,578 units in June 2023 with volume growth by 6,162 unit. The Seltos was first launched in August 2019, and since then it was performing decently in sales, giving tough competition to Hyundai Creta, and other rivals, but with the new facelift update, it could enjoy few months of dominance over its rivals in sales in the future before the Creta update launches in 2024.
Next is the Kia Carens with 6,002 units which is 2,045 units less than it did in June 2023, which is 8,047 units and was the best-selling car for Kia. Kia had launched the Carens MUV to rival the Maruti Ertiga, XL6, and Hyundai Alcazar, but their main target was the leader of the segment, Maruti Ertiga. The Carens is pulling good numbers in sales, and the sales looks to be improving over the months. Then at 3rd is the Sonet with 4,245 units against the 7,722 units in June 2023 which is 3,477 less units sold in July 2023. Kia was spotted testing the Sonet facelift in India, and is expected to launch either before 2023 end, or early 2024.
Lastly, Kia EV6 sales has gone down from 44 units in June 2023 to 15 units after launching last year in May. It is one of the expensive models that is currently on sale in India by Kia. The Kia Carnival was discontinued few months ago, and it’ll launching the updated generation in India sometime in 2024.
