Maruti Suzuki has launched the Fronx at Rs. 7.46 lakh with bookings already open and deliveries will begin next month.
Maruti Suzuki has finally launch the Fronx at an introductory price of Rs. 7.46 lakh. The Fronx has various features such as 360-degree camera, wireless charging pad, automatic climate control, LED headlamps, paddle shifters, cruise control, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), traction control, ISOFIX anchorages, Heads-up Display (HUD), Tyre-Pressure Monitoring System, 9-inch Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and rear AC vents.

Maruti Suzuki had already revealed the dimensions of the Fronx. It has a length of 3995mm, it is 1765mm wide, and has a height of 1550mm. It has a wheelbase of 2520mm which is 20mm more than the Brezza and has a ground clearance of 190mm. The Fronx has 308 litres of boot space on offer with a fuel tank capacity of 37 litres. The Fronx has a turning radius of just 4.9 meters. The kerb weight of the Fronx is 970 kg for the Manual and 975 kg for the Automatic and Gross Vehicle Weight is 1,030 kg for the Manual and 1,060 kg for the Automatic.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx has two engine options on offer – 1.2-litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT petrol engine, which produces 87.29 bhp and 113 Nm of torque paired to a 5-speed Manual Transmission with fuel efficiency of 21.79 km/l on Manual and 5-speed Automatic Transmission with fuel efficiency of 22.89 km/l. The other is the 1.0-litre Turbo BoosterJet petrol engine which produces 100 bhp and 147.6 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed Manual Transmission with fuel efficiency of 21.5 km/l and 6-speed Automatic Transmission with fuel efficiency of 20.01 km/l.

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx starts at Rs. 7.46 lakh for the base Sigma variant which comes with 5-speed Manual Transmission and goes all the way up to Rs. 12.97 lakh for the Alpha variant which has 6-speed Automatic Transmission and if you pay Rs. 15,000 extra, you can get the dual-tone treatment.
Now that, Fronx has launched, Maruti will be shifting it’s focus towards the 5-door Jimny which is supposed to launch in May.
