Maruti Suzuki has revealed the sales figures for the November 2023, and it’s another good month for them, as it reports 1,64,439 lakh unit sales over the last year.
Maruti Suzuki, the leading carmaker of India, revealed the sales figures of November 2023 and it report sales of 1,64,439 units which is 3.39% year-on-year growth over the 1,59,044 units in November 2022. Out of these 1,64,439 units, 1,36,667 units include domestic sales, 4,822 units include sales to other OEMS, and 22,950 units include export sales. Demand for vehicles in Mini Segment – Alto, S-Presso dipped to 9,959 units from 18,251 units last year with 45.43% year-on-year de-growth. The YTD Sales also de-growth to 97,077 units in FY 2023-24 from 1,64,243 units in FY 2022-23.The Compact Segment – Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, Tour S, WagonR, demand for this category has gone down as well to 64,679 units from 72,844 units in November 2022 with 11.20% year-on-year de-growth. However, the YTD Sales decreased to 5,64,270 units in FY 2023-24 from 5,79,957 units in FY 2022-23. The demand for Ciaz in Mid-Size Category has gone down from 1,554 units in November 2022 to 278 units in November 2023 with 82.11% de-growth. The YTD Sales decreased from 10,364 units in FY 2022-23 to 8,414 units in FY 2023-24.
The Utility Vehicles segments – Brezza, Ertiga, S-Cross, XL6, Grand Vitara, the demand for it increased to 49,016 units from 32,563 units last year with 50.52% growth and the YTD Sales also saw huge increase in numbers from 2,27,164 units in FY 2022-23 to 4,14,631 in FY 2023-24. Moreover, the demand for Eeco in Vans category is up to 10,226 units from 7,183 units in November 2022 with 42.36% growth and the YTD Sales is also up to 90,920 units in FY 2023-24 from 85,554 units in FY 2022-23.The Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) Category has Super Carry Mini-Truck which saw decrease in demand as it sold 2,509 units from 2,660 units in November 2022 with 5.67% de-growth and the YTD Sales decreased from 25,082 units in FY 2022-23 to 21,899 units in FY 2023-24. Total Domestic Sales including LCV (PV+LCV) increased from 1,35,055 unit in November 2022 to 1,36,667 units in November 2023 with 1.19% year-on-year growth. The YTD Sales increased from 1,092,364 units in FY 2022-23 to 1,197,211 units in FY 2023-24.Maruti also sold vehicles to other OEMs like Toyota and saw growth from 4,251 units in November 2022 to 4,822 units and the YTD Sales however decreased from 46,708 units in FY 2022-23 to 39,087 units in FY 2023-24. Total Domestic Sales (PV+LCV+OEM) increased to 1,41,489 units from 1,39,306 units in November 2022 and total Export Sales increased from 19,738 units in November 2022 to 22,950 units in November 2023.
