Maruti is probably going to release an upgraded Ciaz Sedan in the Indian market shortly. With numerous new enhancements and capabilities, this will receive a generational upgrade.
Most likely, the front and rear fascia’s of the new Ciaz will be redesigned. Furthermore, a new 1.5-liter Z series hybrid-petrol engine is anticipated for the forthcoming Ciaz; this engine will probably be seen in future Maruti vehicles like the Swift and Dzire. It will include more hybrid features to boost engine efficiency and deliver excellent performance. This new engine is expected to be class leading in its segment and will have less power but increased Torque output figures. Both manual and automatic gearbox options can be chosen for this.

The next-gen Maruti Ciaz, a premium offering from Maruti, will be sold under Nexa as the current generation model. Although the variants are unknown, we can predict significant variants such as the Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha, just like with other Nexa models. The new Ciaz will rival the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, VW Virtus, and Skoda Slavia with a price tag of between 9.5 to 14 lakhs (ex-showroom).
It is projected that the New Generation Maruti Ciaz will launch in 2025.
