First clear images of New Elantra has been out online.The new sedan which is expected to come in India in 2019 will make global debut next month.
New Elantra 2019 will follow the same design language as the outgoing model.Some prominent changes are expected to override the exterior of 2019 Elantra with many new premium features add-ons along certain tweaks in upholstery.
Talking about front looks,it sports Hyundai’s signature cascading grille.New sharper triangular shaped headlights which merge into grille comes with individual slats for LED elements,along with projector headlamps and DRLs.Fog lamps are in a triangular shape flanked by air curtain vents.Thick chrome band runs across the lower part of the front bumper.
Changes to the rear profile has been made in the form of new boot lid design with split type wraparound LED tail lamps.Number plate position has been shifted to bumper.Wide dual tone bumper features rear fog lamps housing,reflectors and reverse lamps.
Minor addition will make way in New Elantra’s cabin.2019 Elantra could derive wireless charging from New Creta with host of premium features in top-end trims.A change in upholstery is expected.

The Indian variant will continue with same set of engine options.It will be powered by the naturally aspirated 2.0 litre petrol engine and 1.6 litre diesel motor.Updated Tucson’s expected mild hybrid technology could be introduced in New Elantra sometime later.Both the units will get manual and automatic transmission.
Dimensions of the new luxury sedan will remain the same.

When launched in India sometime next year,Elantra will take on the likes of Toyota Corolla and Skoda Octavia in our market.New 2019 Elantra will start at a price tag of Rs. 14 lakhs and will go upto Rs. 20 Lakhs(Ex-Showroom,Delhi)
