From the inside, we don’t think there would be any major changes, but still, it may end up getting new upholstery for the cabin, and slight tweak to the dashboard, and centre console. The interior sports 10.2-inch Infotainment System, dashboard align AC vents, soft touch leather on dash, 4-spoke steering with fully Digital Cluster behind, captain seats in 2nd row. Moreover, the 2nd row seats are fixed meaning you can’t move them forward or backward; however in facelift, it may become a possibility.In Engine Options, the Meridian will continue to be powered by the 2.0 L Diesel Engine producing 168 BHP and 350 NM Torque mated to an 6 Speed Manual and 9 Speed Automatic Gearbox. It’s also possible Jeep will offer Meridian with a Petrol engine on launch as they were evaluating a new petrol engine for the Compass and could find its way under the meridian’s hood.Jeep few months ago had teased the Meridian facelift for launch this year. It’s expected to be priced between Rs. 34 Lakhs to Rs. 40 Lakhs with its rivals being the Skoda Kodiaq, MG Gloster, Toyota Fortuner, and the Volkswagen Tiguan in India.
