The 2025 Seal introduces several cutting-edge features, including the integration of a LiDAR sensor mounted on the roof, significantly enhancing the vehicle’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The sedan’s powertrain is equipped with a 1,200V SiC control system and a high-performance 23,000 rpm motor, propelling the vehicle to a top speed of 240 KMPH and a swift 0-100 KMPH acceleration in just 3.8 seconds.Battery options include a 61.44 kWh variant and a larger 80.64 kWh option, providing a CLTC range between 510 km and 650 km. The 800V charging capability allows for a rapid 10%-80% charge in just 25 minutes. The 2025 Seal is available in multiple power configurations, including a base 170 kW (231 bhp) rear-motor variant, a 230 kW (315 bhp) option, and a top-tier 390 kW (528 bhp) all-wheel drive version.
The 2025 Seal’s upgraded chassis features BYD’s Disus-C damping control system, which enhances suspension adaptability, stability, comfort, and handling, particularly in the four-wheel-drive variant. This advanced system, coupled with the sedan’s design continuity—measuring 4800 mm in length, 1875 mm in width, and 1460 mm in height—ensures a refined driving experience.
The 2025 BYD Seal is available in four distinct variants:
These features make the 2025 Seal a compelling option in the electric sedan market, blending advanced technology, performance, and affordability.
Well, given the fact that BYD Seal launched in India back in March 5th, 2024, it won’t received an update until next year. So, yes, it should indeed come to India, but not until the 2nd half of 2025.
